Why not both?
I follow you because I like your writing, even if I may not agree with what you write all the time.
The thing is, there are "system effects" at work in all writing, especially when the topic is widely covered by many different authors.
Always pointing out only the negative, in a large enough community of authors can lead to readers becoming depressed and detached; but it's important to point out problems, to study them in sufficient depth that, maybe, a way forward can be found.
Always pointing out only the positive, in a large enough community, can be disingenuous and neglectful; but it's important to point out clearly when things go right, so that we can build on successes.
So why not alternate? One post about a bad thing; the next about a good thing?
