I wonder if this article mightn't create some frequency bias in progressives. I mean, you point out the frequency of various conservative moral panics. Someone who never "connected those dots" before might see this as a new thing, which sets them up to fall for the bias.
Don't get me wrong; I'm a progressive, and while I have some reservations about CRT, its representation by the regressive right is malignant.
But while conservatives might be more risk- and threat-averse than others, I think everyone is susceptible to frequency bias.
