Dan Levy has created a something that leveraged the existing and traditional structure of the entertainment industry to positively impact society. Society is a teeny bit better for its acceptance of the nature of the show, and a teeny bit more open to more shows like it. This enlarges the potential market for such shows, which makes them lower risk for the industry.
