I agree completely. We mustn't jump to conclusions yet because we just don't know how things will play out.

What I'm very satisfied with, however, is the fact that the investigation continues. It's the investigation that gives me a glimmer of hope for - well, I won't call it democracy, but at least "non-totalitarian governments".

Indeed, a grand jury is rather like a trial based on "balance of probabilities" rather than reasonable doubt. And I think this approach is a rather good way of doing a first-pass check of the evidence.

I think Trump is probably guilty because, on balance of probabilities based on his past behaviours, I think it's quite likely he behaved like the sexist, power-mongering buffoon he's shown himself to be on so many previous occasions.

But that doesn't mean he's actually guilty in this case. Yet.

Let's wait and see what happens.
